BrajidyllDownload Audio
"Brajidyll" is a concatenation of the words Braja, the eternal abode of Govinda in the spiritual world, and idyll, defined as "An extremely happy, peaceful or picturesque episode or scene, typically an ideal one." So it is meant as a tone-poem of a scene from the Lord's pastimes in Vrndavana, which are always beautiful and full of spiritual happiness. |
Kṛṣṇa BossaDownload Audio
This song is a bossa-nova tune about how when we are in touch with Krsna, then everything is wonderful and we're in love; but when we lose our Krsna consciousness, we are lost and gradually glide down into a hellish condition. The first part is pretty straightforward bossa nova, but the bridge uses a chord progression that I think is unique. Boy was it hard to sing all those modulations! Lyrics: Kṛṣṇa You're the life of all that lives, But when we go away from You Our love is always incomplete, Kṛṣṇa You're the life of all that lives, But when we start to speculate Our karma weighted down by sin Kṛṣṇa You're the life of all that lives, Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare |
